The Erie Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to this year’s annual Parade of Lights!
Join us for this dazzling parade as it travels through downtown Erie.
Come out and enjoy our downtown area, local school choirs, free Carriage Rides and a visit with Santa just before the Parade of Lights!  Enjoy Open Skating!


Volunteer Opportunities:  Click Here
Volunteers are an integral part of the Chamber and help to make our events successful.  There are several events throughout the year that Volunteers are needed.
Volunteering is a great way to get to know business members and other members of the community.
The Chamber events can also offer great community service hours for students who may need volunteer hours for school or other organizations.

Local Choirs Singing - Choirs will be inside Orchard Community Church - 470 Briggs Street
Soaring Heights Middle School Orchestra - 4:00 - 4:20pm

Vista Ridge Academy – 4:25 - 4:45pm
Soaring Heights Middle School Choir - 4:50 - 5:10pm
Erie High School – 5:15 - 5:35pm
Erie High School CR5 Choir - 5:40 - 6:00pm

Free Carriage Rides -  4:30 - 7:00pm

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus - 4:00 - 6:00pm
Santa and Mrs. Clause will be located at Coal Creek Park on Kattell and Wells Street

Crumb City Cookies,  47 Bakery, JLK Kettle Corn
Calvary Bible Church - Free Hot Chocolate

Orchard Community Church - 470 Briggs Street - Free Hot Chocolate, Restrooms

New Parade Route:

Parade of Lights begins at 6:30 PM at Perry Street & Briggs traveling north on Briggs to Moffett, East on Moffatt to Kattell Street, North on Kattell Street to Cheesman Street.  

Parking
Parking is available in the town along residential streets, in the parking lot at the Erie Methodist Church on Holbrook Street just west of Town Hall and in Calvary Bible Church at 415 Evans Street.  Do not block driveways or fire hydrants.  There is no event parking in the alleys.  

Important ADA Parking Information: There are limited handicap parking spaces available on the north side of Coal Creek Park along Cheesman Street. Please be aware that you will not be able to move your vehicle during the parade. Handicap spaces are limited so these are on a first come, first serve basis.

Please be aware of the following street closures:
 
🕞 Starting at 3:30 PM:
 
Briggs from Anderson to Wells
Moffet from Briggs to Kattell
Kattell from Moffet to Cheeseman
 
🕠 Starting at 5:30 PM:
 
Briggs from Erie Pkwy to Anderson
⚠️ All streets that intersect Briggs will be closed from Perry to Wells
 
🚶‍♂️ Post Office Access: You can still access the Post Office via the alley from Cheeseman.
 
🚗 Please drive carefully, especially when crossing Wells. Thank you for your understanding! Enjoy the Parade.
