Postponed - Erie Hot Air Balloon Festival

Erie’s Hot Air Balloon launch planned for this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (June 9th, 10th and 11^th) has been postponed due to an unseasonable amount of rain.
The Pilots determined this morning that the fields are too wet for launching and landing and will not dry out enough by this weekend.

Rescheduled Date:  July 14th, 15th and 16th

Overview:  
Arrive at 6 am to see the balloons inflate and get ready for take off. This is at a different date than the Town Fair on May 13th.  Weather permitting the balloons may start taking off at 6am. The weather dictates everything including the launch times.

Please check daily for cancellations of Balloon Launch due to weather.

The Rocky Mountains are clearly visible in the distance as the sky comes alive with all the colors of the rainbow.  Join us during a new weekend for the Erie Hot Air Balloon Festival, and it's magical.  Come in person from 6:00am - 8:00am each morning, and watch the balloon inflate and take flight, weather permitting - No Pets Allowed on the launch field!

We are seeking volunteers for this year's launch!
Are you available to volunteer at the launches June 9, 10 and 11th from 5:30am until balloons launch (generally 9am at the latest)?
Pilots need crew members to help with setting up their balloons.
We also need volunteers to ensure there are no dogs on the launch field, "lost" crew members trying to find their pilot, etc. It will be a very fun time and no stress!!
